Dear All Georgia State Games Past Participants:
This year’s Georgia State Games Championships are now open for registration!

In addition to all of your favorite sports, we have a few of our early events about to begin with registration closing soon.
· Shooting – BB Gun – April 19
· Wrestling (FK, FR & GR) – April 25 & 26
· Taekwondo – May 3 & 4
For this year we have a few new exciting sports and events changes:
· Girls Lacrosse – June 14 & 15 earlier date
· Ultimate Fitness Challenge (a Cross Fit Competition) – July 26
· Open & Masters Swim Meet – August 2
Do not miss out on this year’s Scholastic Sports Olympiad completion. Up to $10,000 in financial grants will be awarded to Georgia Schools in how their students participate in this year’s event. It is easy, see the website for details.

This year's edition of the state's largest multi-sport event will take place on various weekends this summer across the Greater Metro Atlanta Area!
The Georgia State Games is a multi-sport festival for Georgia citizens of all ages and athletic abilities, including physically disabled and Paralympics athletes. The Games are recognized by the National Congress of State Games, a member organization of the United States Olympic Committee.
More than 10,000 athletes from 500 cities and towns in Georgia competed in last year's Games.
More than 1,000 volunteers help make all of these events happen. Interested volunteers can also register at http://www.georgiagames.org
The State Games concept was developed in New York in 1978 with the Empire State Games. Annually, more than 400,000 athletes compete in State Games nationwide, featuring various sports from the Olympic and Pan American Games programs as well as sports with regional popularity in each state.
