Sorry we will miss it as we'll be in Vegas, but in my opinion (since you asked) I think the pups could / should play from the reds to be fair for all - if age of pup is 15 or below (don't want Mason going off from the reds  )

Well its good to see some FF activity here the day before I am going to place a large disc order. We are working on the online registration. We should have it fixed by tomorrow.

Please register and sponsor a hole or two. I need the help to buy plastic. The tournament stamp will soon be posted. The Fright Flight 17 logo comes by way of Two Disc Dan. I have to say it might be my favorite all time Fright Flight stamp.

Sponsor the event!!!

I'll go ahead and answer this one. Current PDGA membership is only required for A-Tiers and NT events. You don't have to be a current member to play in a C-Tier. You will however have to pay an extra $10 to play in this sanctioned event.

Time to sign up and make your charge for a 2012 Vampion title. Need some more hole sponsors as well. I've got over $600 in personal money out on this disc order. Help me help you :ugeek:

Sign ups are rolling in. $1 CTP on every hole as usual. Get ready for some action.

P.S. Online registration is giving me fits, if you've found that to be true for you as well please mail me your entry fee and hole sponsorship(s).

Thanks,

My assistant TD is working on getting the registration list up, yes Craig I got your entry.

Skeletor, come get a few Rocs the morning of the event. Flat Top Rocs are for hole sponsors only, but all of the discs are really sweet.

There are so many competing events these days, but it is kind of sad that there would be a conflict on the same day as a 17 year annual event. No love

This was my response to him when he requested the dates in the thread saying exactly that:
Re: Requests for 2012 PDGA Sanctioned events only!!!
by keith johnson » Wed Sep 05, 2012 10:18 pm

You are ok with the milage restictions for C-tier against C-tier (25 Miles) , BUT the long running Fright Flight doubles Event is that same day in the South Metro ATL area which usually has a huge crowd of ATL golfers, so I don't know if that would hurt your attendance.

If it doesn't matter to you, then you can sanction your Event on that weekend per PDGA rules.

If you are choosing another date - then please check the first / top post for already approved sanctioned Events to see what might work best for you.

Does any of that really matter? Those who know will be at Rand's show, others will waste their time at the other event. Anyone who schedules an event the same day as Fright Flight is clueless and disrespectful imho.

I know that Greg, but I posted that for others new to the area or not familiar with how the PDGA sanctioning requirements are for Events on the same dates - so they don't assume that I just let people schedule whenever they want without having them understand the other things scheduled already on that day.

So I posted that so that people see that I'm just pointing out as State Coordinator that I can let others know and try to get them to change dates, but if they meet the requirements mileage wise I CAN'T deny their right to sanction the Event.

Anybody have a crowbar so we can wedge Kieth's panties out of his buttcrack? I was aware of all that you mentioned and appreciate what you do and all the mess you have to deal with. You do a great job and I don't think anyone questions that. I was just hoping that (per my previous post) the locals in the know support Rand and not the other action. Lighten up Francis!

I'm actually not upset in the least honestly - I don't let this stuff bother me like I used to when I was living Disc Golf 24/7/365 - now with hardly playing and only running a couple things a year - I actually am enjoying the non playing side of Disc Golf again - and eventually I will either stop playing Events completely or learn to enjoy them again now that I've been BEI free for over a year and can deal with golfers on my time and choice instead of constantly.

I hope one day to get to play golf with you again, but as you are doing things the same time as me, it may be awhile before that happens.

Take care Gerg, and Lorelei says hi to Monkey 2 from Monkey 1!

I think Rand already has a good idea about the wonderful world of parenting as this is not his first.

Congrats from the Johnson family to Rand and his family for the newest addition to their family!

You are not allowed to use the word "family" for the rest of the month!

I've stayed at the Microtel nearby and it was very clean and well priced. Plus, free cookies...

Thanks Keith and G-reg for the love and entertainment! I am glad I left hole 6 open in hopes that you would bite. Thanks to you and Future World Champion and 2 time Fright Flight Champion Lorelei Johnson #13697 for the continued support :)

I need six more hole sponsors - who wants a custom tee sign and a Fright Flight 17 flat top black Roc? The wolf stamp is one of my all time favorites. Great work Two Disc Dan!

Agreed! Hook up with this kid if you can. He hit a bounce out ace at the Monty during the ace throwoff with a thumber! You should know, you were there.

Whats up fellas.

Wanted to let you know that I work full time and some. I just had my third little girl. I have been the TD for Fright Flight 17 years now. I don't have the luxury of sitting at home to work on PDGA events these days. If you don't see your name on the list please do not be alarmed. FF is a Ctier, if you paid your money you are on the list. If you haven't sent in your entry do not be alarmed by that either - you can pay Saturday morning. If you notice someone asking my a direct question on hear that goes unanswered for some time, please copy and paste this post at the bottom. G-reg, you get it and thanks for helping me field that attack.

To Fright Flighters: PLEASE STOP CALLING ME!!!

Love ya, mean it!

Yes I got it, but you paid for yourself alone right? Who is your partner? I got a business check from you for $55 with no info. Not sure what that was for, so I figured it was half an entry fee for Pro division which costs $110 a team.

Thanks for all the 40+ calls and pm's for partners that I got. I narrowed it down to one. Being a rock star sucks in that respect, but I love you all and can't wait to see everyone tomorrow.

Rand would like some help with added CTP action. He needs 9 more donated discs if anyone would like to oblige. Thank you for being awesome. BTW-donations are not limited to just 9 discs. The more the merrier.

Ive got nine discs and some shirts that I am going to throw in for ctps. I need nine more discs so that we can have swag clots on every hole during round two. As always, $1 CLOT on every hole to be paid to the closest shot of the day for both rounds.

Let me thank all of you guys for coming to the 17th Fright Flight/ With a newborn among other thing I have had trouble getting the scores posted. You will find some disorganization below. On one level those who didn't put their PDGA # and full name down at check in left me trying to figure those things out. This is part of the added time issue. Thanks to those of you who follow instructions and example well. To those who don't move to another country  The PDGA scores will be turned in today and they will up load them next week.
