Sunday check-in July 29th - 8:30-9:15AM at the pavilion near the disc golf course.
Ace Fund and CTP buys in will be available for those interested, so bring some extra cash.
Players Meeting and announcements 9:30 AM
1st round tee-off 10:00 AM
Lunch break after last card comes in. No food will be provided, but there are plenty of options close to the course.
2nd round tee-off - TO BE ANNOUNCED
Awards ceremony at the pavilion immediately following scoring of the second round.

3 Divisions - Pro Field, Am Field, Pop/Pup Field (Pups must be 13 or under)
Pro (black/black), Am (blue/blue), Pop/Pup (red/red)
2 Rounds - 1st round best score, 2nd round best disc (same as last DarnTree Doubles format)

Round 1: Best Score. Each player plays the hole as they would while playing singles; there are no shared lies. The team score is the best score on the hole by one of its players. On the scorecard, only write down the best score.
Round 2: Best Shot. Both players throw from each lie (starting with the tee shot), then the team chooses which of the two resulting lies to continue play from, until the hole is completed. Only one of the team players needs to make a putt for the hole to be complete.
Out-of-Bounds: Inside playground’s perimeter. Within outlined creek on hole 2. On top of trailers on hole 4. On or over the walking path on holes 6,7,10,11,14, and 15. Inside “the pond” on hole 12 is OB. Across OB line between holes 11 & 17. If the mando is missed on hole 11, play your next shot (with penalty) from the next lower pad. Two meter rule is IN EFFECT.

All players get a logo stamped pint glass in their players pack.

I understand we play "singles" the first round, but for the scorecard do we use the best personal single round, or the best score for each hole that me/partner shot that 1st round? Thanks, can't wait.

You each play your own round start to finish, but record the best score (between you and your partner) for each hole. If you get a birdie on hole 2 and your partner gets a bogey on hole 2, you then record the birdie for that hole.

Approximately 1/3 of the field is full, with a handful of interested parties that I see on the course that still need to sign up. Need more Pro teams. This format at ERP is a BLAST!

Also, there is a new bridge on hole 2 that Craig Dickerson made. A group installed it this past Saturday and it is a pleasure to see from the tee pad. Thanks Craig!
The dried out creek will have O.B. marked very soon. I went out and marked the O.B. line between 11 and 17. I was marking the O.B. around 12's rock pile when I ran out of paint.

Course is looking great.

Forest gnomes were out on the back nine today re-leveling blue tee pads and repainting the timbers around them and sweeping the black pads. If you see them out there tomorrow as well, be nice. Grass has been mowed by park staff on 3, 4, 5, and 12 in the last week.

The course is ready! The new addition to hole 2 looks great....! Hmmmm nicknames..... if you can't throw past it---" a bridge too far"..... if you lose your disc in a rain filled creek--- " a bridge over troubled water"...... If it takes more than a couple of throws to clear it..." the bridge over the river Kwai'.....

DarnTree Doubles is in the books! I want to issue a big thanks to Jay Voss, Steve Nelson, Brett Porter, Scott Walker and Bob Pressley. Having a good team of people helping makes running an event SOOOO much easier. And thank you Barry for running the Ace Fund throw off. Payout got a little confusing with a change that wasn't supposed to be made, but things got worked out on the fly. Thanks everyone for hanging in there. Everyone who personally thanked me and shook my hand makes me want to run this event every month, but I think I'll wait until next summer. Scores are listed below with payout.

The CTP winners (around $50 each) were Jay Voss (#2), Cody (#5), Mike Azimi (#12), and PNut won a vintage 2006 Lake Russell players pack with 2 discs and an extra pint glass with the Longest Putt on #7. Verminator won the Ace Fund Throw Off ($102). Congrats to all the winners!
