How can you help North Georgia Canopy Tours?

Postby keith johnson » Sun Jun 24, 2012 9:55 pm

For those of my friends who are fans of NGCT and would like to help them have a chance to win this grant please vote and share with your freinds - they have ALWAYS been a huge supporter of the GSSS and Disc Golf since adding the course last April - here's a chance to return the favor.

North Georgia Canopy Tours has applied for a
$250,000 grant to bring a“superzip”to north Georgia. In
order for our grant to be considered we must receive
250 votes via Facebook. You may vote for us by
following these instructions.

How about we support a grant to add 5 productive employment positions in meaningful public service rather than subsidize private enterprise 'entertainment' expansion? The whole country is suffering and yet, our culture is still focused on distracting self-indulgent activities. We continue to live on the backs of all the diligent generations before us and this playtime we live for comes at a price. Support of endeavors that are meaningful to enrichment and growth rather than for a bigger, better playground seems more deserving. This just ain't the time to worry about more playtime. But why worry about that when you're working steady, right?

*This message brought to you by the committee to promote a glimpse at the bigger picture. Now, argue amongst yourselves until it's clear that you'll never please everyone. You're spoiled rotten America.

Americans would rather take the zip line to hell, as long as it'll carry our bloated, lazy a$$es, Woody!!

Great point Woody. You know one would think that cigarette and alcohol manufactors would be out of business in times like this as well. I can't imagine how anyone having financial problems could justify partaking in either of those vices.

Wouldn't the "super zip" generate a few jobs?
Fart, it's never not funny!

$250k create 5 "Public Service" jobs? Not a chance. More like 1/6 of a job. I too vote for the Super Zip! (or any productive job creation).
