FrizzCribb Invitational Volume 3 March 4th

Postby K-Mack » Fri Jan 27, 2012 3:54 pm

It’s on the PDGA.com schedule so it’s set in stone.

PDGA C-Tier and Southern Nationals Qualifier

I am opening it up to 30 players this year. The number is limited due to the limited space we have at the course and with the crossing fairways, anymore players could be a disaster.

It is an invitational but if you have any intentions to going to Southern Nationals you are 1st on the list to get in. It will also be a promotional/kick off to PDGA leagues. I will be hosting official PDGA Sanctioned Leagues at the casa for the upcoming 2012 year. So players that are looking to play in the PDGA leagues at the casa will get 1st consideration as well. We prefer that everyone that is wanting to play be a PDGA member, if you have never been a member I will be able to offer a discount for new members.

Got 2 new fun side events, like we always offer at the events at the casa.

#1 We will be offering the longest hole ever in competition, estimated distance is 3,200ft par 15
#2 Wiffle Ball Home Run hitting contest w/ pitching machine
Plus have the mini course or the round 9 if folks are wanting to play that.

We will also be offering camping Saturday night if anyone wants to come play some night golf on Saturday

We will only be offering two divisions Open and Am there can also be Womens divisions…We will be paying out 2 formats, Straight scoring and Handicapped scoring based on your PDGA rating.

Buy in $25 ($5 of buy-in pays for PDGA and SN fees) with an optional $2 Acepot and $3 for cash CTPs There will also be another $20 side bet for the more serious players that want to gamble

PDGA Sanctioning Complete, Registration list: http://www.pdga.com/tournament_results/80743

I may get to use the school grounds next door, I will be able to open it up to more players and should know by tomorrow, still maximum is about 36 due to course restraints. If I do get to use the grounds I'm going to need 3-5 baskets.

If your interested in playing shoot me a message. We are offering Pro, Am, and we also will be paying out by handicap system per PDGA rating

I keep the details as cloudy as possible to keep the numbers manageable, plus it's private course because its my house and there is a strict no barney policy. Plus this is a Southern Nationals event which means to me that duct tape and chicken wire is acceptable, so this event is a patch work special. If you look for good times instead of hyper competitiveness, you should enjoy yourself.

I'm probably going to get to use the elementary school to add more holes. They have already approved a new 9 hole course going in, but I need to clear it with them to make sure we can use it Sunday. Nice piece of property that will allow this event to max out at 72 next year, it will also be used for league play. We will also be using the neighbors yard for 2 holes, because they want to watch us all play. :D I'll be posting a course map soon that adds the other holes. It will be a permanent super rec course, with longer temp tee's so we can enjoy it also.

So we will probably open Sunday up to 36 if anyone is interested to come play and can bring a basket, Looking for 4 or 5

Gonna have quite a few CTPs thanks to Las Vegas DGC, JP and INNOVA disc golf for some sweet USDGC ROCs and Swag as well New Innova Blizzard Discs for the...lots of Womens goods too.
