Postby JPZ » Fri Oct 07, 2011 9:40 am

Anyone have any experience throwing theses different stamped discs?
I have a leopard like this 1

But, considering going with this 1

Do they fly the same?
Because we all know that some discs like 11xFB dont fly like a 12xFB.

also, theres the non Barry model

Don't know if it is the stamp vs. the different runs.. I usually throw Pro Leopards but it seems like all the newer runs are too domey and as a result understable. I see that alot of that with destroyers too.

I don't like discs that are too domey - they are like getting socks for christmas.

From what I can tell from the discs I see come through the shop they just started adding the numbers to the stamp but the mold is the same. Not sure on the pre Barry Leos. The only discs that really changed with the new CH TeeBirds. There were some flat cloudy CH TBs last year but those days are gone.....

Yeah guys with the molds changing , its just hard to tell by looking sometimes.
I keep 1 leopard in my bag for 300-350ft tornover shots
and CAN use my roc in a pinch, but was gonna get a substitute, just incase I lose it.
its almost black with a purple starburst center. fly dye and kinda hard to find...sometimes.
So, even though they added the flight #s on the new Leopards, the mold is the same as that ^^^^^strange disc photo?

I have an old Special Edition Leopard that has never been thrown. It's a CE/KC Pro plastic mix and is grippy. The mold/shape is one of the sweetest I've seen. I never really threw these discs.
It has ink on it :|

I'm not sure what it is worth, but I haven't seen many on Ebay
