I want to start up some action at the Monty

Doubles or otherwise, maybe twice a month, on Saturday or Sunday. I'd like to hear from you if you're someone that might come down to play it.

Sound off if this is something you're interested. I need opinion and availability. I'll host dubs/whatever for whenever I get the best response.

I'd come play every so often (every other month) - Sunday are definitely preferred. I am not your best resource as I am nearly 2 hours away. I enjoy the BYOP format - maybe ou can be different than everyone else and offer that. Just do Pro and Am (maybe cheaper for Am).

I like the course - definitely worth the haul.

My 2 cents

As long as I can do payout and cop those thousands of buck every time, I'll be there.

If you could do me a favor and not choose the 3rd Sunday for Monty doubles, it would be aprreciated as we have it going on every month at: The North Gorgia Canopy Tours course - and so far betweeen the Discaddie Series being on 2 of the dates and Barry doing every Sunday doubles at McCurry, the crowd at NGCT has only averaged 12 per month for the 3 months so far. :(

Thanks in advance if you can use another Sunday,

You really think courses nearly 100 miles from Lula are having a significant impact on your turnout??? Crazy

I have yet to see anyone from the Northside come down for my action at McCurry. Face it...Atlanta disc golf is split by I-20.

Not saying that - just saying that if he puts it on the 3rd Sunday, then people choosing to drive an hour plus to play, will be split in half.

I know the Disccaddie Events hurt turnout as several of the players that play doubles were playing those Events instead - On the 1 month without it being against a Discaddie Event and even being that it was on Father's Day, we had 18 players, where there was only 9 players for each of the 2 months which were up against the Disccaddie Events.

Just was throwing it out there as the Monty and NGCT are "destination type courses" without a lot of "local" players nearby - so players centrally located between the 2 would have to decide which to play instead of being able to possibly play BOTH if they were held on different Sundays.

Thanks for the consideration - it was all that was asked.

And I'd like to see the Monty one day myself - you sound like my south of 1-20 twin with your course work stories -it would be good for both of us to see what the other has done first hand.
Let me know when you might possibly make it up there and I'll comp your $5 fee, or come on up for the Event in OCT on the 15-16th stay in an airconditioned Teepee or rustic camping spot - the colors should be outstanding and the views better than normal. (as well as being alot cooler  )

thanks keith.

I'll make it up, maybe in the next month, and I'll definitely let you know. Unfortunately 15th-16th is out.
