Oh yeah, remember this; If you end up in a playoff, but decide to leave your partner and go to the mini-mart, the playoff WILL START WITHOUT YOU!! Your partner will have to play single (ONE shot) until your lame-a s s shows up. The playoff starts IMMEDIATELY after all scores are in. Anyone not there will forfeit. You CRUISE, you LOSE!

Who is the designated driver to the mini mart? Just kidding... Target has some cool/affordable LED light keychains in the flashlight section at the camping Dept. 6 bucks each, blue or white ...3 functions, bright, dim, strobe-flash. They add about 4-5 grams each. See that disc during its whole flight.

Despite the strong start, the last two weeks we have had 5 players and 3 players at dubs. Due to the lack of support and attendance tuesday glow is no more.

the ace fund will go to the 2008 dubs season, if someone wants to run it.

you can't expect everyone to be able to make it out there every Tuesday night. Why not try it every other week instead?

if i had to make that decision 100 times, i would play the crucible 100 times.

i'm not sure what this has to do with me not running dubs anymore. its the same thing with the regular dubs this year. we had a decent start and then there were about 8 weeks in a row where it was just matlack, raury and myself.

i love any action at LP. but i cant make people come. its their choice and they all choose not to come.

to be honest, it kind of pisses me off that i was volunteered into this before i knew there were going to be glow dubs, and the people that "nominated" me do not even show up.

Re: Glow Golf Tuesday's

Postby djester » Mon Nov 02, 2009 10:22 pm

Back from the dead!!!!!

Any chance of getting some glow action up this winter?? We could play it by ear and see how many show up.

Glow devices would be the players task to come up with. I have bought a few LED key chain lights that I tape to the bottom of the disc (option 1 below). If you can find some little ones, they'll work good on a stable disc. Most go for the last option (6) since they are the lightest.

Disc LED light options
1. http://www.theledlight.com/inova-microlight.html (costly, but easy to get golfing first)
2. http://www.nightdiscgolf.com/disc_lights.html (items can be bought at Radio Shack for less cost)
3. http://www.flashflight.com/holeinone/index.shtml (downside: you have to drill a hole in your disc :? )
4. http://www.blackjaxsports.com/PRODUCTS/Light_PODS/AeroPOD.html (looks like you have to drill this one too)
5. http://www.everythingdiscgolf.com/manufacturers.php?manufacturerid=33 (LED are in the disc!! never tried these though)
6. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000W785EE (these work, but are not the brightest around... they are the lightest!!)

Basket Light options
1. http://www.blackjaxsports.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=3&products_id=8 (this is by far the best set up I've seen!!)
2. Glow sticks (could be had for cheap after halloween discounts)
3. any kind of camping LED light I guess :?:
