Gwinnett County Open 2010 Tourney Day Info Thread

The GCO is Tomorrow!

By now, you should know what park to go to. See GwinnettCountyOpen.com if you don't.

One change was made and the 2 affected families have been notified. We moved the younger juniors to Lenora for transportation and space reasons.

If you haven't noticed, this thing turned out to be pretty big. I was not expecting this sort of response and am playing catch-up on a few things to make sure everyone has a great time. It won't be perfect, but we will do our best, so please bear with us and be patient. If you have any problems, bring them up to Bill at Lenora and to me (Gerrit) at Alexander.

When you show up at your starting park, please check in as soon as you can. If we get a smooth on-time start, we should easily be able to get done before darkness sets in.

Am players will get a voucher that they can use at tournament HQ for a DX disc, or they can add a couple dollars and get a higher tech disc.

I plan to start the player's meeting ON TIME. please be present at the player's meeting for any information. The post following this one has hole information.

There are MANY new players in Rec and Int. Please help them learn the rules and etiquette . I will mention at the meeting that people that know, should help and correct.

If you ARE one of those newer players, please take some time to read the rules

I assume that (as might be the case with the youngest juniors -- Pool 3) a missed mando on the second shot would be stroke and distance? Thinking specifically of Hole 4 at Lenora, where the youngest players might be well short of the mando tree on their tee shot and miss it on the second.

Excellent point. Thanks Scott, I'll be sure to mention that in the players' meeting.
