The tournament is being held at the course that the man with the chainsaw chased some Clemson kids...that's why the name.

All AM will get a players pack. A limited edition CHAINSAW disc or a limited edition CHAINSAW t-shirt. Awesome art work. Only 20 discs and 20 t-shirts will be available. First come, first serve. All other AMs will get a voucher.

All AM players will get a players pack. A choice of a two-color t-shirt, a Champ Katana or a voucher for Strange Disc Sports. They'll be vending at the tournament.

The course is short at 4,000' total length. The course record is 40 that Connor Thompson shot during the SC State Juniors two years ago. Team Decaf out of Charlotte shot a 39 at Walhalla during the Best Disc portion of the SC Doubles in 2009 at Walhalla.

I played Walhalla a couple weeks ago and it is a super fun course. Short but tight in spots. Hope this tourney has a ace fund!

Hugh - you better be coming to see me at Central on the 21st!!!! I love Walhalla too - it is just a wicked fun little course - a lot of cheeky mid and putter shots....

There will be an ace fund...probably need one for both rounds.

At the SC Doubles two years ago, there were 3 aces...none of them were in the ace fund.

This tournament is offering Rec and Novice, so if there are any beginning players out there, this is a great change to enjoy some competition against players in your same skill level.

I was thinking the same thing but I think it has something to do with their state points.

Looks like they need to figure out a way to transfer those points fairly, I have a way to do it that I figured out.

It is a state point series issue. I hate it as much as everybody else. I wouldn't be surprised if you see the same at the last two state point series events coming up.

The course was great and would love to play it again. But, please remove the invisible wall at the 34 hole that I ran in to.

I had a great time and hopefully I won't be sick as a dog the next time I make it there.
