Does your club or course want a women's clinic? Let me know

Postby billnchristy » Wed Jun 09, 2010 9:56 am

Courtney went a little nuts and bought enough discs to run a couple more clinics and we will be scheduling and running them through the summer...and on as long as there is a demand.

Currently we are going to stay limited to the south side, once Courtney feels comfy branching out away from the baby for longer we can do other courses.

So let me know. We are looking forward to doing more.

Jp Moseley will always welcome ladies!! We have multiple tees, and lots of sun/rain shelters.
There are already a few women that frequent the course weekly.
Sure the course is long and challenging, but it provides many different shots that are needed to be a well rounded golfer.

We run action on every Last Saturday of the month (unless a local tourney is going on).
The P&R dept love the idea of having more DG'ers on the course (bonus).

Dandaman is in charge of talking to the P&R dept. so he will have the biggest "say" in the matter.

Another bonus is that you will get to play a course you've never been to.
Let me know if you ever want to check the course out and need someone to show you around.

Yeah we need to get out there. JPZs wife said she would show us around too and we want to play the Fright Flight anyways so that is key.

This one might be perfect for the next venue, for the clinic we don't really need much space.

just my 2 cents.... kari and i love mosely as long as the grass is cut. it's a great course and would be a perfect spot for another clinic. you could count me in for that one too. i don't think i could ever stop learning from courtney. she is a great teacher.

Yes she is. These might have re-sparked her fire too which is awesome.

Hole 1's basket area is a good area to hold a clinic. It is shaded, provides a few baskets to throw at (hole1, 2, 6, and 18 are within 200ft).
You would have a very nice shelter on hole 2 for shade.
The course could be modified (no kind of work needed) to make a short "loop" of holes 1-7, then 16-18... which provide a good amount of shade.

 Get out there and check out the course man!! You'll be suprised all that you've been missing.
