WORK DAY!!!APR. 6th (Tues) or APR.7th (Wed) We will be clearing a new pin placement for hole#14, and if energy and time permits we will be doing some maintence on holes 15-17 as well. Definetly would welcome anyone interested to contributing to the growth and maintenece of DG here in the (southern area of) ATL.

We are willing to help whenever we can. Would the county be willing to spray or provide the spray for poison out there. We have a sprayer to use.??

Just got enough concentrated roundup from Jk to MIX 75 gallons of poison ivy/sumak/oak killer.. Iv'e got the tanks and ATV to to get it done.
Just posting in-case you have somewhere particular you want hit.

planning through 1-6 fairways n trees.
7 right side
8 around tee
9 near basket
10 around trees
12 bench
13 red tee and right of basket on fence as much on 14-15 ans i can
and 17s pad and bench
any other areas I see or you guys tell me will get attention also.

If anyone want's to help with mulch through the woods and around 15's tee , I will also be attempting to do a little spring maint. on this have a trailor that goes w the ATV so navigating the woods holes is easy!.

Which is really where I'm going to need some help *HINT HINT* any1 else helping, would be nice also!!!!
1 helping shovel mulch in the ATV then 1 helping spread would be ideal.
MY wife "sidearmjunkie" has been advised not to lift or throw anything for a mo. to heal her shoulder.... told her to just throw thru the pain !!!HAHA!!!

There will be a new pin placement added to hole #5 (the older version anhyzer, but new short pin placement)<---Have to dig up old #9 pin placement

I think I will do some weedeating and grass mowing on holes 8,9,15,17

The tee sign for nine will be thrown in the back of my truck for asthetical tests.

The island green on hole #11 will be reconfigured (again). Whoever set the flags for the current green: it is much too large (but not in charge).

That is all. Remember that the Monty needs assistance<---work being done Sunday.

Course preparation will continue throughout the summer and here are some of the projects that will be done by October: New concrete pad on #5, Island green on hole #11. Tee signs updated. Course shule removal (especially on holes 8-17). Tree removal on holes 13-17. New pin placements as needed. If all goes according to plan look for a major push for the expansion of JP Moseley. My goal: 27 holes (nine new cut) by the end of 2011.

Come help out folks. This course needs it!
