The Herm!

Postby billnchristy » Sun Mar 21, 2010 10:35 pm

Just wanted to say I really like this course. Even though it is short the clever placement of trees in every line you can take makes it not very easy. :D

It is also one of two courses my 7yo daughter will play start to finish. She threw a 91 from the reds, but her back 9 was freaking incredible. 8 4s and 1 6.

I also had a blast playing with a zephyr.

We saw a lot of women out playing too which was very nice. It was cool seeing my wife out drive most of the guys playing too.

I think it is worth the 45 minute drive to play.

You should come check this out. It's a very laid back and very fun tournament. Jared Hightower goes to great lengths every year to promote disc golf in Oconee County. My daughter is 8 and she has played in this tournament for the last 2 years. Your kids will have a blast. If my memory serves, there was a pretty good women's division last year too.

Thanks for the props guys!
HT and I have added the tourney.
Sorry I haven't done it sooner, just busy w/ dad's surgery and the birth of my granddaughter.

How many usually come out for the tourney? IE How in the heck do you fit 108 people on that course?

There have never been 108. If memory serves, we had 50ish last couple years. I could be wrong though.

The 108 # was just for admin purposes.
You're right, Jay, high 50's for both years.
