Lofstrand wrote:CTPs and ace fund should be mandatory IMO. Just for the sake of easy payment at the beginning and end of it all. If someone can't contribute a few bucks because they don't feel like they can compete and "have a chance" then they should wait until after the doubles starts and play a casual round with themselves and save their other $5 for a post round sandwich. I never get CTPs, but always buy in. Its all about the action.

He took the bank for sure! Well done Woody.
The Ace Fund now has 138 clams.

This was the morning! I will start out with a BIG congrats to Woody Blackwell for hitting the FIRST ACE of Team Alexanders random draw dubs on hole 4(248ft). Not only did he manage to ace hole 4 but that was also a CTP hole, PLUUUUSSS he won dubs action with a 42, aaannnd he got a disc that was donated by the GDGO to us for helping dig holes for the practice basket markers for CTP's as well. We will just start calling him "The Janitor" because he likes to clean up(he's squeaky clean).
ONCE AGAIN LEAGUE RECORD WITH 40 PLAYERS!
I want to thank everyone for helping Alexander doubles become such a big success! Lets try to help out Chop and join in Lenora's Bag Tag League Thursday's at 5:30. I do believe as we get more daylight they are going to push back the time a bit.
Again CONGRATULATIONS to Woody Blackwell, and congrats to all players for making this an all around record breaking day.
monsterboys76 wrote:thank you for the correction woody i do not know what i would do with out you

There was; heard there were enough for Dubs at Lenora too. Wish they had made it to Alex; CTPs were junk today!JR wrote:Hope I did not create to much havoc and there was a good turnout.

Visiting sister and wondering if your dubs will be happening tomorrow. Love to play if folks rally on Xmas eve.
