CFR Destroyers

Postby Randgolf » Tue Sep 18, 2007 7:36 pm

I may order some CFR Destroyers for Fright FLight. They will be run in the Champion Candy Fund raiser plastic SWEEEET... Who out there would be interested in having one? Cost would be $25 each as they are fund raiser discs. Keep in mind that the Champ Destroyers are only available right now in CFR, so this would be the only place to get one until Innova releases them which may not be any time soon.

Also, sign up for Fright Flight bring your own partner doubles. Great course, great tournament (12 years running), great time of year.

CFR Champion Destroyers

Postby Randgolf » Fri Sep 21, 2007 3:24 pm

The CFR Champion destroyers are on order, so if you would like one let me know right away. If you have alreay let me know you are good I have started a list. Cost = $30 or 2 for $50 These wont last long and I should be getting them at the USDGC, meaning, I might get rid of some there. Let me know now if you would like one, if you wait you might miss the opportunity.

Help support the tournament. Get your partner and get me your money.

Destroyer

Postby Randgolf » Mon Sep 24, 2007 2:55 pm

Only 12 CFR Champion Destroyers remain. IF you want one or if you have placed an order for one you need to get your money to me. I am not going to hold out for those who wait to pay, especially if I have a guy with money in hand ready to support the tournament. Thank you for stepping up and ordering one for those of you who have. I will hold them for you for an undisclosed amount of time, but it wont be a long time.

Thanks again,

Destroyers in the house

Postby Randgolf » Tue Oct 02, 2007 5:26 pm

I just got the FF CHAMPION Destoyers and they are SICK as could possibly be. Those of you who have placed an order with me you will be happy. No more two for $50 option. Good thinking for those who took advantage of that. If you would like one they will go for $30 each regardless of quanity. Better act fast because they are going on the BAY tonight.

I will be offering a juniors division at Fright Flight. The cost will be $40 a team. Have them bring their neighbor along for the tournament.

Two weeks away. Get your partner and get your money in to secure your spot and your players pack.

Postby Randgolf » Mon Oct 15, 2007 10:25 am

It is time to preregister. FUll color Rocs with Jordy's custom FF stamp will go in each players pack, so make sure that you get one by getting your entry fee in. By the way, if you are not a current PDGA member be prepared to pay an additional $5.

Toccoa is a great course for doubles, so get your partner and get your entry fee in this week. Online registration will close soon.

Check out the FF art work on the main page, it might motivate you to get your last minute registrations in. Once the players pack discs are gone they're gone. Under two weeks away.

Does anyone know how to get in touch with that Sean cat that played Perkerson a couple of weeks ago? I think he and I could do some damage.

Postby Randgolf » Fri Oct 19, 2007 11:12 am

Only 16 spots left, meaning 8 teams. This will fill up, so make sure that you have your players pack disc and spot secured. Don't drive up to Toccoa to get turned away. Sign up online the link is at the top of this page.

8 team spots left until FULL

If you wait to sign up you will NOT get in

Only because Sarah and her partner are playing in the Advanced divsion!

Also who is Griffin Johnson?

Isn't that Bob's son?

If so I think they have them registered in the wrong division. (they are listed in mixed)

It's a junior and a love machine playing together. Wouldn't that be mixed? Bob would be the junior, of course.

Rob & Kathy - T & T - short for Tat and Twat

Mike - Rand was kind enough to let us play mixed - Griffin has not been playing much and I am trying to get him back into it - there is little point in playing Advanced together - that would be like Jay trying to compete with Gomez as his partner in Advanced...

We will just be donating in either division - just a little less in mixed...

Hey Rand,

This is Bryan Chinn, and you have myself and Chris Heeran (supposed to be Patrick Heeran) on the list at #25 in ams. With my knee blown out, we will not be able to participate. I just want to make sure we are not holding up a spot if that is the case. I know you are busy, but I hope to remind you so that we do not take up a spot.

I still can't believe I blew my knee out in such a freak accident. I am counting the days till I can even walk enough to get on the course.

Good luck to all!

Yeah - Gomex is irritated with me about that post too... But on the flip side about the post - the name T&T is getting some positive feedback - I think that you should print up T-shirts. YOu could play the AC/DC song when they announce your name on the first tee, but Gomex & Phillips might protest because their team name is AC/DC...

All right damn it, I need a pro partner. Any one have any leads? My cell is kaput and I don't have numbers. Call me @ 404-351-5656 and ask for Chad.

Rand if I don't find a PRO partner by early tomorrow can I get my 60 bucks back and open up a spot?

Sides

Postby Randgolf » Thu Oct 25, 2007 9:43 am

Speaking of side action. We will have CTPs on every hole for $1. This year it will be a bit differnt. Pros are playing long tees both rounds, so they will have their own set of CTP flags and AMs will have their own set. I have color coded note cards that will be on each hole. The orange cards will be for all Am divisions that choose to pay a dollar to compete for the CTP on each given hole. This way Ams have a greater chance of winning several or a few CTPs. Pros will have their own set with green note cards. If all the Pros get in on every hole ($24) each hole will be worth $32. If all of the Ams get in on every hole vale = $82 per hole.

This is a great chance to win some extra money. Like I say each year, Fright Flight will have more side action than a dog track!

We will also have $2 ace fund. If it is not hit we can donate it to the Jim Warner fund or clot if not. Vote later on it.

As far as overbooking the field it happens to the best and wrost of us. Sounds like Clunk aint dropping out now, so unless someone else does we will have a log jam 6 pack out there. Please don't misinterpret the sixer thing  . Either way, we should get 2 rounds of 24 holes in without much problem.

So, bring plenty of money for side action CTPs, tournament tshirts (only 35 will be available) full color tournament stamp price = $10 only sizes available L,XL. I will also have some Glide shirts available $15 each. They are Patigonia shirts with a front chest print that reads "Glide Disc Golf" , reall nice shirts.

It looks like all fees will be covered for each divsion which totals around $1,500. Whatever added cash is left will be distributed fairly equally to each division.

Be glad you preregistered, this is going to be a great tournament.

See you Sat,

I will be out of commission this weekend and am trying to hook my partner up with another partner. Matt Richardson's partner, Garrett Gurthie, can't make it either. I've tried getting Luke on the phone but no luck. If either Matt or Luke reads this, Luke's number is 706-340-2293 and Matt's number is 770-238-7485. I will still be there this weekend, just not able to play. This should open up another team slot possibly.

As mentioned above, if a team drops it will create 96 players which is what we are looking for. I over booked, so if a team drops we are set, but if two teams drop Bing and his partner are first on the wait list.

Whats wrong Greg?

If refunds need to be issued I need to know this before Sat. Otherwise I will not refund entry fees. Please let GGurthie know this if possible.
