The courses are generally decided a week or two before the event. It really depends on alot of factors including but not limited to, daylight/time, new courses/layouts being available, what we played in previous/upcoming events, and possibly this year division you are playing.

For the Feburary 21st event i am anticipating playing the Steady Ed all short layout and the Jim Warner course. This is about all we can get in due to limited daylight this time of year.

We anticipate cement tee pads will be done on the Jim Warner and Steady Ed Red Tees by early April.

Do you have to preregister for this one day action or is ok to walk up on Saturday?

I ws without a tractor/mowers for some of the crucial summer months this year, but i am happy to report the tractor came back to me 2 weeks ago. The Steady Ed and Warner both have very fresh cuts and are looking great for the tournament this weekend!

The Steady Ed hole positions have not been moved this summer, so the course will be very familiar.......

The Jim Warner has had 6 holes move, most into positions no one has seen:

Hole 2: Longer by approx 40 ft, slightly more hyzer, heavily guarded green
Hole 6: Shorter by approx 30 ft, straighter shot
Hole 7: Shorter by approx 40 ft, easier par 4, some have seen this position
Hole 14: Longer by 75 ft, harder par 3, still needs a little work but a fun hole
Hole 16: Shorter by 150 ft, turns into a par 3, very gettable
Hole 17: Longer by 40 ft, brings hillside and creek into play, fast green

Hope to see some of you out here this weekend!

Just a reminder, the final series event will take place this saturday at the IDGC. We will play the Steady Ed Headrick Course first and the Jim Warner second round.

The Warner has new benches on all holes, and has been getting a little attention, I also should be changing some of the "Ed" placements around. The Weather has been slowing em down but should get at least a couple holes moved and cleaned up!

9am signup, 10 am start see ya here!

I saw that too but I heard somewhere else it is supposed to be worse. I just don't feel like driving down there to play another tournament in the rain. I may change my mind though.
