Postby Sweeney » Thu May 15, 2008 7:18 pm

I just saw online that the Mountain Disc Golf Experience regristration is open. Its on May 31 - June 1, in Asheville, NC.

2 rounds on Saturday, 1 on Sunday,
Top 4 open players play Urban Skins through Downtown Asheville.

You can find more information through:
http://www.WNCdiscgolf.com or the PDGA website.

From what I hear, it fills up fast. I have already signed up.

If you want more information about the Mountain Sports Festival which includes, Adventure Racing, Paddling, Cycling, Climbing, Running, Ultimate, Disc Golf, Skateboarding, Ball Sports, and Live Music downtown.
Their site is http://www.mountainsportsfestival.com

played over the weekend.... very, very, nice course!!!!

technical, tight, thread the needle, tough, all come to mind. Roc's, aviars, and midrange with maybe one or two drivers needed. I'd predict 7-10 under per round for the leaders, but that's just a guess. Many holes are shoot and putt (if you make it through the tree's)

Congrats on your 9 stroke win ,which Peckham posted on ther PDGA thread about the Tournament as the TD did not even list players, let alone scores.

Next year I'll be sure to keep in touch with Peckham and the other Carolina guys, so that it can get more than 1 week notice here.

Sorry it took me a WHOLE DAY to sort through my pics and post them.
These pictures aren't nearly as good as the other link, since the guy who took those is a professional photographer, but there are some really cool shots.

The course, the city, the people, the skins everything about this tournament is awesome.

Congrats again Dollar.

Those are some cool pictures and the Orange Peel runs all over TL, I mean richardhead I mean the Variety Playhouse.

I was at a wedding in Columbia SC this weekend and missed Dollar getting booed but that looks like a good time and good win for the young man.

SC does take care of itself to a fault.

Vote for Rand!

Yeah, I got the NC part with the Orange Peel reference, but thought I would mix in some other topics to make sure you're reading all the posts. You're teetering between a C and D right now for your report card.
