Keith why is it that you have to play in 3 of the first 5 events to be eligible for the series payout. Last time i checked this is the super SIX series, and i know people are planning on getting 3 in including the last event of the series. It makes no sense that you are not going to include the last event in the series payout. Forget it i see that it is posted but i think its still a dumb rule it should be called the "super 5 series, with a championship".tm

Thanks

Hey it was just a suggestion on the wording of the series thats all, im all for Td's running events the way they want i just think people are confused by your series structure.

BTW i am not the PDGA just cause i work for them, you are as a dues paying member, so maybe you should suggest it to the BOD.

Who's getting free insurance and sanctioning?!?!?!

Are you volunteering to process all the sanctioning agreements and insurance for all the events in the country for free!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
WELCOME TO GEORGIA'S SUPER SIX SERIES and ENJOY!

SERIES INORMATION:

Georgia's Super Six Series first year will be the beginning of what I hope will be a series that will expand to 10 events for next year and beyond, as more courses open in the state that are currently being planned and/or worked on.

All events will be PDGA sanctioned C-Tier events, limited to 72 players, FIRST COME - FIRST IN (REGARDLESS OF DIVISION) and will have the same divisions available at each event, the same cost for each event (bonus voucher dollars for signing up for all 6 at one time) and the same GREAT PAYOUTS FOR ALL PLAYERS! that i have always done - 50% of each division paid back and 100% of the womens division paid back.

ALL Sponsorship monies towards each event will be divided for each division by the percentage of players in each division - the more players in the division - the bigger the piece of sponsorship "payout pie". (GSSS trademarked)

Play in any 3 of the first 5 events to Qualify for the Series Bonus or Points Payouts, at the Series Finale.

You will receive 1 point for each event you attend and 1 point for each person you beat or tie in your division.

Ridesbrd wrote:BTW i am not the PDGA just cause i work for them, you are as a dues paying member, so maybe you should suggest it to the BOD.

Sorry, but I thought you had to be a PDGA member to be a TD, so I assumed since you run the IDGC points series events, you are a TD -therefore a member and part of the PDGA like the other 10,000 plus members are part of the PDGA.
I have suggested to the BOD including this year that if a tD ran multiple events in the same year that the insurance should cover the whole year, not just 1 event.

Ridesbrd wrote:Who's getting free insurance and sanctioning?!?!?!

So you have paid 1200 dollars for sanctioning and insurance on all 12 of the IDGC events? I don't think so, but I could be wrong.

Ridesbrd wrote:Are you volunteering to process all the sanctioning agreements and insurance for all the events in the country for free!

Where does this statement come from? It doesn't even start to make sense.

I don't know what is eating you Jason, but I have never been anything but cordial and friendly to you in all the years I've known you, so I'll just chalk these posts by you up to temporary alien abduction stress syndrome, and wait until you come to your senses again.

See you soon,

It costs time and money to process sanctioning agreements, and purchase/litigate the insurance. I was asking if you are volunteering to do this so no one has to pay for this anymore?

Ok, so I was lied to then by the office. It's not the first time and won't be the last I'm sure. I apologize.

I never said no one has to pay for it, I said it should cover ALL events run by 1 TD during the calendar year. $600 for insurance and sanctioning for a series which takes place in a calendar year seems a little exorbinant in price. I think you are misunderstanding what I'm saying.

Sign up for GSSS Events 4&5 and you'll still qualify, you can just have Brian run the Aug 2 IDGC Points Event.

Keith,

I was only trying to give constructive criticism, and you always get so defensive, i'm sorry you get attacked on here but that was not my intention. Unfortunately Brian is already running my September event so that I can go to Elberton.

I wouldn't be in contention for the series anyways i was just stating my confusion on the structure of the series even though it was posted months ago.

Sorry, but I take enough crap on here from people because they don't read, so I was kinda surprised to see it come from someone who I considered a friend.

Much - We should all love everyone and get along on this beautiful planet...Let's all sing a happy song and have fun.....

Here we go:

Somewhere over the rainbow
Way up high
There's a land that I heard of
Once in a lullaby

Somewhere over the rainbow
Skies are blue
And the dreams that you dare to dream
Really do come true

Some day I'll wish upon a star
And wake up where the clouds are far behind me
Where troubles melt like lemondrops
Away above the chimney tops
That's where you'll find me

Somewhere over the rainbow
Bluebirds fly
Birds fly over the rainbow
Why then, oh why can't I?
Some day I'll wish upon a star
And wake up where the clouds are far behind me
Where troubles melt like lemondrops
Away above the chimney tops
That's where you'll find me

Somewhere over the rainbow
Bluebirds fly
Birds fly over the rainbow
Why then, oh why can't I?

If happy little bluebirds fly
Beyond the rainbow
Why, oh why can't I?
The Hula Hoop became so ubiquitous that the former Soviet Union banned the toy as a symbol of the "emptiness of American culture."

Does this mean a tornado is scheduled for this event?

If candy little discs can fly beyond the rainbow, so can you Vern.

Drive with your eyes open on the way home Vern!
