The Hula Hoop became so ubiquitous that the former Soviet Union banned the toy as a symbol of the "emptiness of American culture."

The infamous Island hole. To play or not to play. I have an option to
keep this hole in play and still play the new holes. What's the census
out there? It would mean that the Island would be #1 and the #1 long
tee would go to #2 target. 560'. - John

We are at around 50 signed up. There will be a card CTP hole for RD. 2-
24 CTP's. The Jim Warner hole will be on the island RD. 3. I have a Tour Bag already on the hole and some x-tras. If you have something to donate for this hole let me know or bring it day of tourney. Whatever is brought in will go to that hole. Making a sweet CTP for a $3 buy-in. Remember the proceeds for this hole will go to the Jim Warner Memorial Fund. The Ace pool will be $2. We will play the courses 24 hole layout on Saturday.
On Sunday we will play the JW island hole as #1 and the blue tee #1 to the #2 target for #2. 560'. I've had a lot of players who wanted to keep the #1 edge shot in play. So we'll get the island and the edge. We also have at least $500 added to the pro purse.See you all soon - John

We are at 65. If you're getting in, don't delay. Brother Johns sub will be here in the morning to take orders for lunch again. I will be at the FCO this weekend if you want to pay me then for the tourney. I will also be taking registration for Border Wars III if interested.

The Jim Warner hole will play Sunday only on the Island. We already have an Innova tour bag, MP3 player, 2006 Star Roc, other discs and cd's. We are trying to fill the bag up. If you have something to donate to the hole please bring it day of tourney or send it with somebody. Also, I am trying to secure a couple of Braves tickets for the bag like last year.
The hole is a $3 buy-in. The ace pool will be $2. $5 gets you in both. As we did it last year, if the ace isn't hit , it will go to the JWM fund. See you all soon. There are still spots available. We are closing in on 100. - John

John - what's the layout - (pins long, short, mixed - does it change from Sat to Sun)? I looke don the Toccoa disc golf site and there was nothing of note.

Will you be at the course on Friday for sign ins?

Looking forward to GA State!!!

The pins will be in long all weekend and the course you play won't change.
The Pro's and Advanced Open will be playing the long tees to long pins.
All other divisions will play short tees to long pins. 24 holes. So, you will play the short tees. We are at 113. I will be at the course Friday until around 6.
See you all in a couple of days. - John
