Before the BOD meeting tonight we were made aware of an incident a few weeks ago where someone used a heavy limb to push down part of the fencing around the library construction site in order to climb over and retrieve a disc on Hole 6. This was witnessed by the construction crews and reported to the parks staff. Any repetition of this sort of behavior could result in Holes 6 and 4, and possibly the entire front nine, being closed, baskets pulled, etc. DON'T DO IT. It's dangerous, illegal, and boneheaded. If you can't live with losing it, don't throw it. Treat it like a deep lake -- assume if it goes over there you're not getting it back. If you don't think you can manage that from the black tees, throw from the blues or reds. I'm sure some of you reading this think it shouldn't be a big deal. Regardless of your opinion, keep in mind that if you do something stupid you could cost the rest of us the opportunity to use the course for the foreseeable future.
