Schedule for tomorrow:

Frost in the Woods Schedule for Sunday:
7:45 - 8:45: Sign-in for pre-reg/on-site registration.
8:45 - 9:00: Finalize groups/side action
9:00 - 9:15: Player's meeting
9:30: First round start
TBD (approx 1:30) Second round start 1 hour after last card turned in from 1st round
TBD (approx. 4:30) Swag pile throwoff
TBD (approx 5 pm) Results posted/trophies awarded

Open plays black pads both rounds. Intermediate/Women/Juniors play reds EXCEPT holes 3, 4, 6, 11, 12, and 17 -- blue pads on those.

New tee pad is marked on 6, signs/flags up for direction, signs with distance to pin on 4, OB lines re-painted. Wear your water-resistant footwear as it's muddy/swampy in a lot of places, particularly on 2, 3, 5, 6, the basket area on 14, etc.

Newly measured distances:
Blue pad on 4 to pin: 215 ft.
Black pad on 4 to pin: 316 ft.
Black pad on 6 to pin: 340 ft.

OB: On or beyond any paved path, sidewalk, or road anywhere on the course.
2: Creek is OB; OB line is painted yellow line on each side. Large swampy area on right has paint lines well over into the trees -- anything between the lines is OB even if it's not actually wet. Past the lines, surrounded by water is OB.
4: Walking path alongside fairway is OB (path and beyond). Mando tree marked in front of black tee pad. Drop zone is Blue pad.
6: Anything inside fencing around construction site is OB. DO NOT cross fence to retrieve discs. Get a description of the disc to your TD and we'll do our best to recover, but probably not until next week. If you can't bear to be without it, don't throw it unless you're certain it can't get over there. Concrete pad is closed; use new pad in ravine downhill from 5's basket for black tee. Intermediate plays existing blue tee. Walking path behind basket and beyond is OB (OB line is edge of asphalt -- silt fence is NOT OB. All water on 6 is casual. Any non-attached limbs/brush, etc. may be moved from your lie -- please try to deposit anything you move off the fairway or farther from the line of play. There are downed trees/posts/etc. across some of the water for your convenience in crossing. Use at your own risk. Watch where you're walking -- there are LOTS of small stumps, vines, brush, etc. throughout the area in front of the new pad, and it's very swampy.
7: Walking path and beyond on right is OB. Asphalt is OB line -- silt fence is NOT OB.
10: On or beyond sidewalk below retaining wall next to tennis courts is OB.
11: On or beyond sidewalks/walking paths, except that the black tee is not OB of course. You must carry beyond the retaining wall on your tee shot; if not, play as OB, taking your lie up to one meter in from the edge of the retaining wall. MANDO tree marked by sign; must pass to the left of this tree. Drop zone for missed mando is red tee pad. OB line marked by paint/string along right side of fairway beginning at mando tree. If paint line and string diverge, paint line takes precedence if clear/visible. On/beyond walking path behind basket is OB.
12: Rock "lake" in front of basket is OB; line marked by paint/string. If paint line and string diverge, paint line takes precedence if clear/visible.
14: On/beyond walking path behind basket is OB.
15: On/beyond walking path to left of fairway/behind basket is OB.
17: Beyond paint/string line between 17 and 11's fairway is OB. If paint line and string diverge, paint line takes precedence if clear/visible.

Throwoff will be from Black tee on Hole 2 immediately after Round 2.

Please sign in by 8:45 so we can get the player's meeting started and finished on time and get everyone out on the course. E-mail info@roswelldiscgolf.org if you have questions/concerns tomorrow morning.
