Ball Ground / Jasper / Elijay Course ?

Postby mrsunshades » Mon Feb 17, 2014 1:16 pm

Is there any interest / any disc folfers out there in the 515 / Ball Ground up to Elijay area interested in getting a course put in?
Canton's got Sequoia, Cumming's got Central park, but it seems like there's a huge hole up the 515 corridor.
I've got a great friend in Jasper who loves to play and has 2 boys who are into it as well, and I live near in Ball Ground.
Any thoughts?

"Folf" (or frolf) is an ancient Saracen word for a small disc or coin like object, often used in a form of sport. In more peaceful times the disc was changed from the top of an enemies skull to a less barbaric wooden or sometimes bronze, circular, flat, and sometimes slightly concave hurled object. In poorer areas, dung has been reported to have been used (hence the phrase "who flung dung !?!" & the lesser known "to filth is human, to folf is divine !"
