The title wasn't for ERP so if you don't mind I would like to keep comments on this thread for JP Moseley Park only...

Insert "oh snap" comment here. :P

An invintation for everyone.
Come play Moseley this Sunday!

I know that nearly everyone is off and for gosh sakes Sunday peanuts happens every other weekend of the year. 1 o'clock gives everyone the morning off and everyone home before any serious bbq'ng or fireworks. No excuses!

Unsanctioned but organized action!
Cold beverages will be provided!(Sorry it's a public park so they will be NA)
Super Mose doubles or singles!
Mob decided!
Local event!
Free ballon animals!
Kidding about that last one there!

With no traffic it's about a 40-45 minute drive down 400 to 85 to 75 then follow directions to JP Moseley park.

Here are the super easy directions from us locals:

From I-75 S
Exit 224 (Hudson Bridge/Eagles Landing Pkwy)
Take a left onto Eagles Landing Pkwy and go approx. 4 miles straight. Eagles Landing Pkwy becomes East Lake Pkwy approx. 2.5 miles after taking a left off the intersate. Continue going straight.
Follow East lake Pkwy to it's end and take a left at the stop sign. You are on Spingdale Rd.
Go 1 mile on Springdale till it T-Bones Millers Mill Rd.
Take a right onto Millers Mill rd.
Park is next left.
Hole 1 is by utility shed and inbetween the baseball and football fields.
Action will commence at 1pm

Since this is the Q & A section of the forum I will pose another question:

Why go to one of the other parks and be frustrated with a bunch of vactioning barnies with no course etiquette who are clogging up the course?

Come to Moseley this 4th and be nearly barnie free. It won't be completly barnie free b/c I will be there but the hole to barnie ratio will be much less than some of these other parks this weekend. I nearly guarentee it!

It is a fact:

The band Phish has not contacted me about playing Moseley this weekend. Therefor there will not be 10000 dead head wannabes playing disc golf at JPM Park. Peace and Tranquility at 1/10th the price of a concert ticket and 1/100th the hassle of being near those areas where masses congregate. Peace and love at the fields of JP Moseley.

Most disc golfers were planning on playing disc golf on the fourth anyway, and in a unscientific deduction I concluded that there was no "organized' action listed for a date that most everyone truly has off. Moseley makes sense. Sure its a bit of a destination course but then again the timing of the action is right ( not too late or too early) and the weather looks to be beautiful. So instead of facing the decision of which barnie crowded course your going to attend on the fourth of July the option of the Super Mose has a most mellow and attractive vibe. That and free cold beverages complete the package.

No. Gold tee pad to long pin placement. You've played 18 long before haven't you?

There you go folks! A qualified "local" isn't even sure what the Super Mose' is all about! All the more reason to come on down and play this configuration!

Weather out there was beautiful. Only a slight sweat was incurred during my course maintence this morning. The dew burns off at around 11!<--All the more reason to not attend Sunday peanuts because you're feet will only get wet if you do (dew)! High of 86 tomorrow! Mostly Sunny! Super Mose! Be there!

This local knows the course very well  .... we've never played that hole as a par 5. Is the short basket location a par 4? How does another 200ft add 2 strokes? :problem:

If Long 18 is a par 5, then hole 10 is a par 4..... just sayin'
