I think that is a smart decision on the PDGA's part. Still don't know how I feel about it being open book though.

At least it indicates they have cracked the rules open at least once (or had someone else take the test for them).

The current official's exam is easy enough that it'd be tough to fail, even if it weren't open book. It's a pretty low bar, but better than nothing, I guess.

I hope it's not as hard than Jim Harrick's basketball final exam. Now that's a tuff test.

Wonder if they will charge people to take the exam like they do if you want to be an official? I think it was $10.00

Wonder if the rules come in any language except for English for those player from other countries?

Wonder if Tiger Woods had to pass an exam to be a PDGA player in a Major?

Is this program funded with Obama stimulus cash?
