Baskets Removed!

I have just been informed by Pete M that baskets #13 & #14 have been removed from the course.

I verified this with the head of the Park & Rec department last night.

Evidently the neighbor with the barbed-wire fence was tired of people coming on to his property.

I guess the No Tresspassing signs were not enough for some people who threw discs over this fence and retrieved them anyway.

The parks guy said they have had to repair this mans fence 3 or 4 times because of disc golfers damaging this fence.

Right now we are looking for a place to relocate these baskets but it will probably be awhile before this is done.

Please if you play any course respect the property of the people whos land may border the park, this has put all disc golfers in a bad spot with the Paulding County Parks Department.

We have finally gotton permission to re-install the two baskets that were removed.

We will be changing the layout a little.

Anyone willing to help, let me know.

Hey Mike -- was thinking about treking out to White Oak next weekend -- pretty long haul, so was wondering if the 2 baskets are back yet or if they're still missing. Also, did you change the course layout enough to cause any issues for somebody who plays White Oak only 1-2 times / year? thanks in advance, Rusty.

Baskets are still not replaced.

Can still play the course, just have to play 16 not 18.

Layout has not changed much since the new baskets are not in yet.
