Im pretty new to disc golf and would like to support this park. I was just wondering if its like a cfr where i can buy a disk and not play so I can watch better players.

This is the type of tournament you would want enter if you are serious about playing in the future. Its not a big deal pdga sanctioned event with all of the best players yadda yadda. Its going to be a fun time (with all the extra strokes and mulligans). Actually playing with experienced players is the best way to learn. There is nothing wrong with buying a cfr and not playing because the whole point of the tourny is to help raise funds!

Kade, you are usually quite eloquent in your posts, but you must've been hopped up on cough
syrup for this one. Kountreyboy, what he meant to say was:
1. This is the perfect tournament for beginners and or experts.
2. This is a fundraising tournament that is not meant to be taken seriously.
3. Mulligans and strokes added to other players will add a fun element and could also help level the playing field.
4. You could also just be a wuss and buy a disc and not play and miss out on an awesome
event.
Fart, it's never not funny!

Ok thanks guys. Me and couple friends are gonna try and make it out there to play. I've only played about 4 times got hooked on it and just been waiting for the wind and cold to die down to play. Doe's anyone have any suggestions on a disc that would help a rookie on a side arm drive?

Our goal is to raise over $1,000 for cement teepads. I hope that will get us enough cement for at least half of the course...if labor is provided of course.

I have been playing with a Leopard and a Valkyrie, depending on how strong you are will determine the weight you need.
The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few, or the one.
