Greg will have the GSSS Champion and Pro Destroyers with him at "the 'cello" on Saturday for your purchasing pleasure, so bring extra cash!

Also he will have a Series disc as a CTP prize for hole #6, donated by Lorelei's college fund.

I think I'm going to drive down by myself, so I have room for my

Anybody know if there is some fast food near the course or should I just bring a bucket of gruel for lunch?

food in the 'Cello

Postby luke » Fri Feb 01, 2008 10:52 pm

The best Dairy Queen in Georgia is about 2 miles from the course. Also there's a Blimpie. If you want hot food, Ingles has a deli with a meat and 3 veg plate that's very cheap and good.

I'll have directions on the course tomorrow.

That was a fun day. The wooded holes are excellent. Very peaceful golf,
like an Ant Farm experience. Thanks Mr Anderson and Luke

Wonderful course Mr. A & Luke. You and the Monticello helpers have done a great job. Fun place to play and I dig the colorful baskets. Especially the Pink one.

That Dairy Queen was awesome. I give it 4 stars.

Thanks SO MUCH everyone for a great weekend. Couldn't have done it without ya'll. The baskets were KEY, bringing nearly 18 quote real unquote targets to the course. The design obviously needs a LOT of tweeking, as at least two teams got turkey cubed (nine birdies in a row). Obviously the largest crowd ever and it was just so exciting!

I'm just so glad it was such a relaxing weekend. Everyone was sooo laid back, made it fun. Glad the weather cooperated, as promised. And we raised more than $300 towards the back nine baskets, so we have funds for three new targets in the bank! May be two more years before it is comfortably done (it may never be done, done), but a lot a great feedback was given freely as well.

I love you guys!
