ALL standard SN Divisions are available so that you can earn points towards your SN Division.

Trophies and Payouts will be awarded by the overall division ... not by the gender or age-protected divisions. First round cards will be grouped by Southern National divisions, second round cards grouped by score for each of the 5 Disc Caddie Divisions.

I'd like to say THANK YOU Disc Caddie for sanctioning these with Southern Nationals! With the Championship being in Huntsville and more qualifiers in GA, it'd be great to see a bigger GA contingent this year.

This is not PDGA Sanctioned.

This is a Southern Nationals event. Disc Caddie is sponsoring the $2 per player fee required for Pros and AMs :shock:

. No Fee is required for Novice and Jr divisions.

No way - Sunday events that I'm not running are bonus, because then I can just play and leave, without all that cleanup and packing the van. :mrgreen:

OK, an old dog trying new tricks here. This is how we are going to run the action:

ALL standard SN Divisions are available so that you can earn points towards your SN Division.

We are not going to incorporate points in the Disc Caddie series at this time, just ratings. Each event will be independent including the Championships *Announcement Coming Soon*. Just remember to qualify for the Championships you must play one of the first three events or purchase a CFR.

CFR and Tourney Discs will be sold for $20. Proceeds will be used as added cash, split between Sequoyah Event (for sales up to event payout) with the rest going towards the DC Championships in September.

There will be no discs included in the players packages.

I will be listing the course set up in the next week or so. The course will be set up for they Tourney a week before the event. We are currently working on new (longer) pin positions so I will see what we can get in before the tourney. I know we will be playing btwn 1-3 new pin positions if we get the new anchors in in time.....

I was able to lock in the concession stand for tourney central! They are also going to try and get the bathroom fixed (broken pipe, that is why its been damp by tee 1) in time for this weekend. If they can't fix the pipe they will delivery a portable unit.

I got a nice Jim Warner buzz with the hole 1 Redan pic (my fav warner design), brand new, never thrown. :wink:

My stash is nowhere near anything like the G-regulator stash though.
I also have a few slightly used CE fx fire chickens too.

Thank you to EVERYONE for both attending and helping out during tournament #1 yesterday!

Big Thanks go to...

Jay & Steve who both organized EVERYTHING on the course! They have worked hard on the, provided the relief with the custom carpet & signage throughout the course. Both Jay & Steve helped with the set-up and the scoring to keep things from falling too far behind as we got started a bit later than scheduled. For those that frequent Sequoyah, these guys keep this course in shape year round so they get a gold star 12 months out of the year!

Grease for helping out with the scoring as well as TD insights, Barry for his calculating Wizardry & Craig Dickerson and clan for everything throughout the entire day!

A double special thanks to Bill Thornton who donated $100 cash to CTP's and provided a nice breakfast to all that were in attendance!

We'll work from this tournament to prepare for tourney #2 at ERP on 5/15/2011 so feel free to provide feedback of any kind!

Last and certainly not least... Both Bradshaw and myself hope everyone will join in on thanking the Disc Caddie tournament team in addition to the day-of ambassadors! These guys allow us to provide as much a possible come tournament time. Without this group we would not be able to provide all of the aspects that we hope players enjoy in addition to the game itself...

Chef Gomez for providing all of the player lunch side dishes. Gomez came out of his own pocket for $130+ to provide for everyone even though he was unable to attend the event! We are only one of several events Gomez has provided for so many have reaped the benefits on tournament day compliments of the Chef!

Andrew Lofstrand for his late night hours working on the tournament graphic which was both appropriate and very cool for the inaugural event!

John Ritger for providing all of the details and software for the team to calculate tournament ratings (coming soon)!

Moose for his encouragement and support while playing Chef elsewhere the day-of himself!
