keith johnson wrote: Yes - at all Events I will have the A-Tier Fundraiser discs, as well as having GSSS'10 Hotstamped regular Innova line discs in all plastics available.

I have never seen ANYONE get in or within 60' of the putting circle on hole 8, so easy 4 - but a design guideline 4 .

on the side of the hill by the big oak?
at the top of the hill?
behind the hill on the downslope?

My point exactly. Out of 72 people it took two open players to get a two during doubles and only one of them actually got there.

It took me almost 1 hour for a normal 15 minute drive home from work.
EVENT # 1 POSTONED UNTIL NEXT SATURDAY 2/20 !!!
I'll say this with the assumption that the park will be ok with being able to give us at least 1 of the 2 pavilions for that date - and I won't be able to find that out until TUESDAY as Monday is a holiday - if not I'll reschedule it for later in the year.
Anyone than cannot make it for NEXT SATURDAY 2/20 who has ALREADY PAID please PM me to work out solutions - I WILL NOT post answers to anyone posting about it here - It needs to be in PM so I can save them and print them out.
Any of the following people has the first shot at any spots as they have already paid and have not gotten refunded or had tsigns made for their sponsorship:
Andrew Jenkins
Wesley Burruss
Mark Dammes
Dave Kenney
Dale Hatcher
Sorry for the late info, but as I said i just got home and I'm typing as fast as I can.
PLEASE LET EVERYONE YOU HAVE CONTACT WITH KNOW ABOUT THIS POST as not everyone reads this board.
I'll also be calling as many people as I have #'s for before 9PM
Hope to see EVERYONER NEXT SATURDAY - Have fun in the snow and PLEASE BE SAFE!

nixonrocks wrote:Hey everyone!
I have an assignment in one of my classes in which I must write a news paper article about something...I chose the growth of disc golf and have an emphasis on here in Georgia. I was wondering if there was anyone out there who had any kind of good insight to the growth here or maybe even a touring pro or anything like that (Store owner, course designer, etc...). If possible, I'd like to do an interview (I was planning on asking some people at the White Oak tournament tomorrow and the event got postponed) it appears as though with the deadline (Wednesday) I'm looking at, I'm gonna have to do an email interview. I'd appreciate any and all help that I can get. And I hate to sound like mean, but only serious replies please.
If you are interested in helping me out with this, just PM me or you can email your thoughts on things such as,
how the sport has grown
Where the sport is growing
Why you started playing, etc...
I'm gonna be away from the computer for a while today ( from 2-930 I got to be at work so I could have next Saturday off for the tournament)
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated!!!
Thanks,
