NOT sanctioned, unless they changed their mind, but there was plenty of extra prizes last year and I think Gomez won a t-shirt for taking an 8 on hole 18 to get the longest putt prize!! Way to go Jeff!!

Maybe we can make this a Super Class event since it's not sanctioned.

I read above it only takes 3 or more to determine the format of the tourney. We just need one more vote for Super Class.

Actually Chappy is in negotiations with the PDGA to get the Cold Snake to be the opening event for the 2010 NT. So no superclass this time.

It won't matter FBJ. I am sure we all will play regular DG and have to lug all of those pointy frisbees around.

The good thing is this event is going to be a NT non sanctioned event in 2010

Don't worry about it - just tell Chappy to front the money for it and tell him you'll pay him back once you collect your winnings. It shouldn't be problem.

Your post was the lead in a string of questions that I thought were to work us. (ie 4 to make a division).... Sorry about that.

I thought Chappy would chime. We can accomodate any group of 3 or more that would like to start a division outside the Tropy only divisions that have been announced (but that is Chappy's call) Outside of this, it's not a sanctioned tourney so give Chappy a call or PM

2 other people bring theirs, or she'll have to stay in the car all day.

What an awesome day for disc golf! 62 players and lots of money raised! Big KUDOS to Al Sandidge for his killer lunch donation and Lisa & Tim for supplying the plates, plasticware, and napkins! Ya'll rock!

Big thanks to all the help: Steve Smith, Steve Nelson, Don Austin, Brett Porter, Keith, Eric, Wade, Jared, and all the others that helped on the fly! Big Thanks to Grease & Greg for their continued support as well! And Chappy, for making sure we do this tourney every year, one way or another....... He has to defend his longest putt win on 18 next year

Top post has been updated with the winners & top 3 in each division, as well all the CTP and Ace fund winners! Hope to see everyone next year!

I as well as the other Macon players had a blast and were already looking forward to next year. Just hope I play better, (think that donkey was laughing at me all day). Thanks for putting this together and we hope to see all of you at the Fish N Pig Moonlight Classic.

FYI - I brought 4 traveler disc golf baskets to the course and set 2 of them up outside the ballfield and 2 in the out field.

When the tourney was over, we went to get the baskets and the one that was out in left field (Blue) was missing! Did anyone go home with an extra basket as a helper may have misplaced it? Or did anyone see someone walk off with it? The baskets were in the outfield at 3pm and Chappy said he saw them just prior to ending his round.

Thanks,
Jay

Tyler & Chappy found the missing basket from the tournament while playing hole 18 yesterday. Looks like someone really wanted that basket because they threw it over the left field fence into the schule.

Thanks guys!

Thanks guys!

Losers - a pox upon their homes for being crapbags and trying to steal something at a charity event.

Thanks for another sunny and tropical Cold Snake to the SAC Crew. The course looked great! Special thanks to Al for his kick butt lunch that made it worth going to the event and dealing with the heat wave. 8)

Money was deposited in Aiden Hughes Assistance Fund account today - $403 -
$402 collected and written on envelope and an extra dollar put in to match what Jay posted on the first post.

Hopefully someone has told them (Greg?) of the golfers goodwill for Aiden this past weekend.

I talked to Jason Tuesday. He had stumbled across Alexander while working and wanted to know if
he had missed something. I guess three months caring for a sick child made them miss out on some
local disc golf. I didn't tell him about the money raised at the CSC, but I'm sure they will find out.
They are, however, very aware and appreciative of everything that the disc golf community is doing
for them. Thanks everyone for your generosity.
