Meeks Madness 2009-July 18

Postby DaltonDiscMan » Mon Jan 19, 2009 8:02 pm

Any word on this tourney? I see the date is set for July but there is no link to it on the PDGA website.

Thanks

Hi, Josh --

I haven't submitted the sanctioning agreement to the PDGA just yet, but plan to very soon. It will be a C-tier on Saturday, July 18. Hopefully, you can make it.

If you need anything else, feel free to post or give me a call at 706-897-8291. Are you playing the Toccoa Ice Bowl? If so, I'll see you there. We've got a dysfunctional group headed that way...

Take care,

Matt,

I will not be at the Toccoa Ice Bowl. I will be out of town. Are you planning on going up to Bowling Green this year? I think several guys from the 'Nooga are going up. If any of the ATL guys want to carpool, let me know and we can all meet up.

Flyer can be found at http://www.brodi.net/meeksmadness/

I'll contact the PDGA today about the online registration link. Of course, the cost of a stamp is a better deal...

If you didn't get in the GSSS event ,here's your chance to play Meeks in another PDGA tourney. D-Wiz and Co. do a great job and the mountain atmosphere in July should make for a great tourney. The current course record is 54 held by Jay Phillips under some pretty bad conditions. I expect a new record will be set at the GSSS event, so here's another shot at that also.Have fun and support this event if possible.See you all soon - John
