You've got to thank Rand for Fright Flight. Always a good tournament, and TD, and we here in the southside say thank you to Rand for his continuing efforts. Fifteen years running:Fright Flight is the premier doubles tournament for the state of Georgia.

The Briar Valley Horror is the newest tournament on the dockett and will feature a one day c-tier singles event. Details to follow.

Course pereparation will continue throughout the summer and here are some of the projects that will be done by October: New concrete pad on #5, Island green on hole #11. Tee signs updated. Course shule removal (especially on holes 8-17). Tree removal on holes 13-17. New pin placements as needed. If all goes according to plan look for a major push for the expansion of JP Moseley. My goal: 27 holes (nine new cut) by the end of 2011.

I will be playing in both. After Mccurry I need a couple tournaments on the home turf to re-coup. I knew staying up till 3 in the morning watching Avatar while Drinking was a bad Idea .

Big thanx to bothTD for the Tournaments. To Dan and all those who make it possible and you cant forget Wade.

I believe this Event is 1 month further away than any Event I have in 2010 Josh.

I thnk number 6 needs work thats imo the worst hole out there. Played the course for the first time yesterday it was fun and i'll be looking foward to fright flight this year. Pre thanks to rand for running the event again.

Hole 2, 3, 4, and 6 are all valid holes...
Way more room than half of the holes out there at ERP....and it was on the "SUPER TOUR".
Guy's, just cause you, think or you, are a good player does not mean you are gonna get a birdie on every hole
I can go out there and park everyone of those holes 2 out of 3 times...and I am by no means a pro and hardly an ADV. player.. although I do score like one on occasions.

Like you said how often do you guys make it out there??

As the course pro said, walk out halfway to the basket...it's freeky big out there at the MOSE!

Remember, moseley is a course that is still changing ...everytime you go out you will find something that has changed a little or alot.
Who knows poss. 27 holes par 103? Well, who knows what's gonna happen we decide when we are there working on it..
If you have suggestions, no need to post them just show up on a work day and give us some help and input.
very democratic as far as what will be done or how the course is played...
majority rules-if you show up and voice an opinion it might just happen...w/ your help

Although this is definitely not the place:

Moseley is an extremely legit "CHAMPIONSHIP" disc golf course. This course was built with the intentions of testing your game. Some holes that means making birdies, some holes that means making pars, and some holes could mean making a 10 if you don't have the shot the hole calls for and the ability to execute when it matters.

The moze is a beast, it'll beat on you if youre not focused or not on your game. It's not a fun stroll in the park... unless your playing well .... which is why i take my Moseley in moderation. IF you want to feel like climo.. go play redan! jk redan'ers... ...


Back to topic.. i didnt see a flyer. Is Fright flight coming to Moze? Is that not a doubles event?

Hole 6 is probably one of the best holes on the course . There is nothing wrong with the hole just the thrower .

I also have my opinons on hole 6 so don't feel too bad about the bashing. But there is acutally a legit line to the basket-otherwise it wouldn't of been aced (cleanly by one Nate G.), and it would not birdied as often as it is (rough estimate 10-12%)*.

I saw the picture and what he said he would do with the text, which is why I said the most important part (price) was left unanswered.

Woody still doesn't get when questions about sponsorship get asked and don't get answered - that it makes it hard to sponsor Events.
PM'ing me the price eventually helped ME - but doesn't help anyone else for pricing - and the idea is supposed to be to get people to sponsor which is easier when they know how much it is.

Daniel I'm sure will do a good job running an Event at his "baby" and I'm sorry I'll miss it.

Holloween weekends are in Vegas every year since 1999, and unless they do split weekends like last year (which is why Lorelei and I got to win at Fright Flight) I'll be there in Vegas.

Sponsorship prices were not listed because they were offered as an option for when people sign up for the tournament through the PDGA signup page.

However to fully, and publicly, disclose the sponsorship price-it is a very recession friendly $15 per hole.
